About the Game

It’s the year 1993. Talking robots, ghosts from the past, and ancient alien technology buried under desert sand. An adventure following Elroy and Peggie in the search of a long-lost father. How far would you go to bring back the ones you love?

Play as Elroy and Peggie as you solve intriguing puzzles, uncover archaeological secrets, meet peculiar alien cultures, and enjoy wholesome emotional moments—all wrapped in a humorous tone in this modern point-and-click adventure.

Elroy is an ingenious rocket engineer whose father disappeared 18 years ago under suspicious circumstances. Peggie is a passionate investigative reporter with a knack for languages, history, and research.

Their quest begins with the discovery of a secret crystal and an enigmatic message, launching them from their hometown of Slope City on a journey through the cosmos to find Elroy’s long-lost father, all while unraveling a lurking threat to the very existence of the universe.

Inspiration

Evocative of 90s-era cartoons and inspired by LucasArts and Sierra games, as well as classics like Stargate, Indiana Jones, the Commonwealth Saga and Hyperion, Elroy and the Aliens’ 2D hand-drawn art and original music score captures the vibrant decade. A Juxtaposition of a heart-wrenching search for a loved one combined with compelling and humorous storytelling, Motiviti leaves no stone unturned in its anticipated epic full of twists, turns, and aliens!

We are an indie studio from Maribor, a medieval Slovenian town with the world’s oldest grapevine. Characterized by our hand-drawn art style, traditional animation, eclectic musical and literary influences, and a veteran programming team, we are set to release our debut original game Elroy and the Aliens on April 2nd, 2025.
